What does it do:

This contrib adds the ability to process credit cards real-time with Authorize.net. It uses the 'Advanced Integration Method', which means your customer never leaves your site during checkout.


Requirements:

  * You will of course need to have an Authorize.net account for taking credit card payments online.
  * Since 'Advanced Integration Method' is done at your store, you "should" use an SSL Certificate.


Main features:

  * All credit card processing is done on your site. Customer never leaves.
  * Uses creditcard algorithms to verify numbers and dates are valid before processing to prevent fraud & typos.
  * Uses custom error handler on the checkout/confirm page to show any card errors.
  * Works Internationally.
  * Automatically converts all currencies to USD (as that is all that is Authorize.net AIM supports).
  * Configurable for test and production accounts simultaneously for easy mode switching.
