[1.5.x] Request Quote System

THIS MOD DOES NOT WORK WITH JOOMLA BASED VERSIONS OF OPENCART LIKE MIJOSHOP OR ACESHOP

What does it do:
================
This mod will allow your store to be converted into a "Request Quote" store.
This means all prices are hidden
And text entries for things like "cart, checkout, etc" are replaced by "basket, inquire, etc"
No permenant or actual changes are made. Simple disable the request quote to return to normal store.

 

 

Requirements:
=================
This mod requires you have vQmod mod installed (http://vQmod.com)

Main Features:
=================
- ALL Prices will be hidden.
- Add to cart buttons will be changed to "Add to Inquiry Basket".
- Totals set to "--".
- Uses overrides so that no files are changed
- Switch back to normal store simply by disabling the "Request Quote" Payment module.
- vQmod script option for manual changes

If this module is enabled, all prices are hidden using an override system that doesn't change any code. All language is changed to reflect an "Inquiry" based store.

If this module is disabled, then it acts like a normal store.

 

How to install it:
==================
1) Install vQmod if not already installed
2) Unzip and upload the "admin" and "catalog" folders to the root directory of your OpenCart installation.
-- No Files are overwritten.
3) From the admin menu, go to 'Admin->Users->User Groups'.
4) Find and check the entries for any unchecked files in both modify and access. save.
5) From the admin menu, go to 'Extensions->Payment'.
6) Install the "Request Quote" module, and click edit to configure. Save.
7) Other Recommended Settings for Request Quote mode:
  1. Disable all Order Totals from the "Extension->Order Totals" menu except the main "Total".
  2. Set all products to "Require Shipping" = NO to bypass the shipping page if not using shipping.
  3. Disable all other payment options.

If you follow the above steps, your customers sumbit process will be:

Add item to inquiry basket -> click "Send Inquiry" -> click "Confirm Inquiries". Done.
